VMAC obtained its Occupational Safety Standard of Excellence (OSSE) Certificate of Recognition (COR) in 2022, and received the OSSE Safety Pinnacle Sapphire Award in 2023, proving an exceptional commitment to workplace health and safety. OSSE certification is granted by the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of British Columbia in cooperation with WorkSafeBC. VMAC was recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the fifth consecutive year, and is a Gold Standard winner. VMAC won its initial Best Managed award in 2019 and has successfully retained its status through 2024.
